Bring "Building Basecamp" to Boston (read all 2 entries…)

We’d love to head out to the east coast and Boston is a distinct possibility. It’s all about lining up the proper venue. We need a cool space (read: not a bland hotel meeting room) for 40-50 people. If anyone has any specific ideas, please feel free to post them here. Thanks.

Space requirements

We need to comfortably seat 40-50 people. We need room for a screen and projector. And we need some space for refreshments and room to walk around and congregate during breaks. Windows would be really nice as well.

We want to stay away from boring hotel spaces though.

colleges

Colleges and ‘cafe’s’ are always a good place. I work at a Univ. in Missouri and the rooms can be boring, but others can be really cool and the auditorium is amazing…

So maybe check out local colleges. Just a thought.
