i might need to find myself someone willing to learn salsa with me to take classes :/

It is fun to salsa!

I went to a ballroom dancing class offered by the local university. I think it cost me $25, and we had class for an hour every Tuesday and Thursday. You definately do not need to go with a partner, but, you will need one to dance! In my class we just switched partners every 10 minutes or so. It was great! I met some interesting people!
