Within the boundaries of Sudan, they don’t qualify to be given the relief accorded refugees, yet they are very much refugees from the villages which have been devastated by the Janjaweed.

And if not Dinka, there are dozens of other languages which might prove both fascinating and useful, such as ki-Swahili, Hutu, Tutsi, many Congo languages and dialects, ci-Chewa, or its variant Niyanja, Xhosa, one of the many Bantu languages… The list goes on and on.
