Christmastime

Christmastime seems to me to be the natural time to read War and Peace. The story is set in a cold place, so it’s not the sort of read that one saves for a hot day at the beach. More importantly, Charlie Brown read it over Advent and Christmas. One of these years, I’ll do that, too.
