I have trouble sometimes, engaging in conversation about things like this, because my own journey of self discovery rather then bring me closer to God – something I looked for in my youth for a long time – has turned me towards total dismissal, and though that is slowly further developing into a sense of a more unconscious spirituallity, a feeling of interconnected energy, thoughs of a conscious deity do not sit with me.

I guess the problem of having conviction, or faith is that your own journey makes everything so clear to you, that its even more difficult to understand how someone else’s journey can take them in another direction completly.

So my direct reaction to your comment, is that while I know exactly what you mean – I attribute how I feel to a completly polar opposite philosophy.
