In schools music is being almost ignored these days.
My step mother taught me to play and eventually to teach piano. She was taught by Irene St. Quentin who was taught by Paderewsky who was taught by Leschtizki who was taught by Czerny who was taught by Beethovan.
I feel it is so important to take the knowledge I have, of these masters, and pass it on for future generations. I have been so caught up in my family that I let my music go to the side.
I want to bring my skills back up and then find 10 young people in my community who are serious and give them lessons without charge. I hope to do this goal. I will do it, God willing and the river don’t rise…
