well, I was present in DC, but 1)i missed the peak bloom days and 2) the walk to the tidal basin can seem intimidating when it’s cold, wet, and raining. but we did see a couple of trees that had flowers that were not completely blown away by the wind and we took pictures by them. and i love museums! so it was still a fun!
