Stop overanalyzing
Argh!

I like this girl and all I keep doing is wondering “what did she mean by that?” or “she looked away for a moment, what does that mean?” or “she didn’t give me a hug..”

And it has to stop. That’s about it. After reading Blink, by Malcolm Gladwell, I realize that overanalyzing can actually impair your abiility to make good decisions.

Comments:

you sound like me

except you’re a guy.

tell me more about this Blink book…

(This comment was deleted.)

That is true.

Thanks for the kind words.

THE UPDATE:

I realized she was an immature idiot. I feel much better now, and actually met someone else, ‘twas completely unexpected and random, and we’re getting along amazingly well.

Like “they” always say, it never happens when you expect it…

I was just passing…
But, how does over-analyzing screw things up? I mean, the fact that you over-analyze would mean that you have a working brain that likes to think of all the possibilities before jumping to conclusions, right?
I, personally,over-analyze things and yes, there are times when I wish to not think so much…but..imagine life without thinking…
hmm.
Here we go again.

thats a good book then yeah cuz it really can.
