to tell the truth, after i typed in ‘stop second-guessing myself’ as a goal, i changed it to remove the hyphen, then changed it again to ‘stop doubting myself’, and was mulling over another rephrasing before i realized my own ridiculousness and put it back the way i first wrote it.

clearly, i need some work on this.
