Talking with Christ
I realize this is a lifetime pursuit, but I really want to go deeper here. Conversations should be two-sided.

It’s just time for you to crack open the Bible. Start with Psalms.In that book is basically 150 different prayers to God about good and bad life. Try praying with scripture interjected. Also try spending just 5 minutes in silence, clearing thoughts that clutter your mind. Those minutes alone will show you the beginning of how much God wants to talk to you and give you new ideas tothink about.

I agree, trixter. And I think that using the Psalms as a starting place is an excellent idea. I’d like to make my prayers times more consistently two-way though…

You want to here more from God? ASK. Then listen. But let me give you a friendly warning. Remember the phrase, “be careful what you ask for?” You probably won’t always initially like what you here. Oh… and yeah… read the bible, it’s the living, breathing, WORD of God and he speaks through it. :)
