Single again and therefore it’s not practical or fair to have a dog while I am away from home for 12 hours a day.

I'm in the same boat

I love labs, but would settle for any dog really. However, I agree that dogs deserve more attention than a busy single person can give.

Put the dog in doggy daycare while you are at work…...and then after work and weekends are just for the two of you! You onky live once. Go for it!
