A friend and I bought some bikes a few weeks ago so that we could seriously start cycling daily. They are cross country mountain bikes with a suspension system on the seat. Meant for rough terrain. Why would we choose that specific bike when we live nowhere near a mountain? Well… Kemp potholes, that’s why. If there is such a thing as rough terrain it’s our city roads.
Word of advice. Always ALWAYS buy a gel seat. The first day we rode over 4 miles on the factory seat. Not wise. We rushed right up to wally world after getting back and purchased gel seats.
By the way.. you might notice the bikes have been pimped a bit already. We’d just finished installing headlights, tail lights and speedometers on them after adjusting the handlebars. brake levers and seats to our liking. Please note… the groovy ‘kiddie basket’ that’s meant to carry our cameras and water bottles.
The bikes are much sweeter in living color. Mine is a pale pink and hers.. a pale purple. About as girlie as you get.
