16. Take a break. I went on vacation last week in Florida, didn’t even bring a notebook with me. I am sooo refreshed, I need to write again, it’s in my blood, and taking a break from everything I need to do, and from trying to come up with something… I’m inspired again.
17. drive through Tennessee and Kentucky and enjoy the scenery. OK, so it was a 16-hour drive from OH to FL and vice-versa, but in those two states, my breath was taken away by the scenery. It’s amazing how intricate God’s detailing is, just look into a valley from above, look at the seemingly unending treeline- really look at it- none of them look the same, it’s beauty, plain and simple.
18. Spend time with people less fortunate than yourself. Some would disagree that I did, in fact, do this last week. See, I got to go to Florida because my friend’s family was going and they brought me along for cheap because I do NOT have that much money. But it was so sad to spend time with them as a family… I am so richly blessed with a loving family, it amazed me to see something that wasn’t that dynamic at all… I count myself more fortunate and I’m glad I got to go this week, I got a much better appreciation for what I have.
19. stay up all night. You will be very creative the next day (make sure you have plenty of caffeine on hand also) and will be inspired in some sort.
20. Talk to your best friend. If you don’t have one, call up an old friend you haven’t talked to in a while just to say hi.
