I can sail a Sunfish and a J-24. I have my Basic Keelboat Sailing Certificate, but these are entirely recreational activities. I want to learn to sail the big rigs, at least a 35 or 40-foot long sailboat on which I can spend a good long time traversing the world’s oceans.
That’s when I’ll really have learned to sail.
