I need to cultivate discernment. I feel so horrible every time I let an opportunity pass me by—even small opportunities like social invitations or free tickets to something. But I can’t seize them all! I need to focus. And take care of myself. And sleep now and then.

I suppose I am fortunate to have so many interesting opportunites. But sometimes I have to remind myself that life would still be OK without that opportunity that just doesn’t fit in right now.

My goal would be “Discern which opportunities are important, and seize those fiercly and decisively.”
