i just attended a Red Cross training on how to prepare for a disaster. it was pretty basic, and making an emergency kit was among the top 3 take-aways from the course. sounds like a good idea to me. gotta get one started.

i also will be taking a training course on how to present the training i just attended to others- and look forward to sharing this information with groups in the community who might otherwise not have access to disaster preparedness info. i’d like to lead by example, though, and tell people (honestly) that i’ve begun my planning as well.
