it’s like an onion, there are numerous layers of information; it will take lots of time and patience to really absorb its depths. I’ve been studying this since I was 12 and it’s been nearly 20 yrs and I’m still connecting the dots. :-)

Parker’s Astrology – Julia and Derek Parker (this is a great intro into astrology, covers all the basics from sun signs to houses to understanding the ephimeris)
(Apprentice to Advanced)
Any books by Liz Greene (her stuff is just awesome, very tuned into Jungian analysis and psychological development). Also check out classics from Robert Hand and new comer Susan Miller (her site is www.astrologyzone.com). Also check out Jan Spiller’s Astrology for the Soul.
