We’re looking for the boat that we want to take the circumnavigation on. We have found one we like, (though it needs A LOT of work), and we’ll find out if it’s available for sale on the 10th.
I just finished my spring brightwork update. Only about a half dozen spots failed and needed scraping back to wood. Last year’s major strip and recoat (picture is from before this) paid off big.
Next week we pull the engine so we can clean the fuel tanks (located in the keel under the engine – brilliant).
I forget what I did on weekends before I had a boat. :-)
The do all need work, but she needs more then most. LOL!

We just got an email last night to let us know that if we want her, we can buy her. So, this week, we’re setting up a survey and all.
She’s 66 feet and needs deck work, the pilot house needs to be rebuilt, an engine needs to be replaced, and she’ll (eventually) need a whole new interior, wiring, stove… EVERYTHING!
But she’s liveable and we love her… So we’ll do what we need to as we can.
