stop losing my temper
Untitled 3 years ago

This one goes hand in hand with thinking before I speak. When I lose my rag I don’t think about what I’m saying or doing. I like to think I’m getting better with age but at times I catch myself being a right bad tempered bastard. I get such a bad feeling post the blow out as well: I feel guilty, ashamed and completely out of control. I think I’m starting to come across as a psycho so I’ll leave at that…repeat after me: I am a zen master, I am a zen master…;-)

Why/ When do you lose your temper?

If it is usually when dealing with other/ annoying people…

... I personally try to think of the Godfather.
Michael Corleone is so amazing because no matter how irritating the situation – he keeps his cool, although the WAY he quietly says something is terribly satisfyingly awesome (and threatening) – but most importantly SATISFYING his anger.

You should start the “way too calm for the situation method”. Kinda stylish :P

The godfather

it’s been a while since I’ve seen the godfather, think I’ll have to watch it again and get some tips from Michael then, if you hear of a shooting spree in Liverpool I’ll hold you personally responsible Christine ;-). Thanks for the suggestion anyway.
