find a great pair of jeans and not have a meltdown in the process
Triumphant 3 years ago

I should preface this by saying that I hate shopping for jeans! I usually only wear skirts most of the time, so shopping for jeans is such a big change for me. Then, there’s all the different styles, colours, brands arrggghhh! And that’s not even mentioning the sales assistants!

BUT today I actually bought a pair of jeans – and there were no meltdowns or tantrums in the change room either ;) I got a cute pair of flares, and they’re a size smaller than last year too. I swear I could just feel that they were the right pair when I picked them up! Hahaha I must have ‘shopping intuition’. So hooray! I now own jeans!

Yay

I also bought jeans recently, but I’m dead picky, they must must must be flarey, it’s just wrong otherwise. And I found some non skinny fit jeans for the first time in ages in TOPSHOP. I’m never out of em, oh except today cos it’s skirt and shawl wearing day cos the sun has decided so.

Oooh I’m really picky too! If I don’t absolutely love them, I won’t buy them! It probably drives the shop assistants crazy, but too bad :) Enjoy your sunny day!

AmyBB25 Happy New Year!

I am definitely

with you on this. I hate buying jeans yet it is also very important to me to have good ones. If they are not flared, they must be roll-upable but all mine are flared or boot-cut. It is a simple thing but so important.
And yeah! all those different styles! Low-waist, ultra-low-waist, just-above-the-knees (haha!), flared, boot-cut, washed, stretch, on and on and on. Very overwhelming. My friend used to work at the GAP and I miss her being there b/c she was my personal shopper :)
