ride in a hot air balloon
Sky Chasers 3 years ago

It’s a lot of fun and makes a great anniversary surprise. Usually you can choose to go either shortly after sunrise or shortly before sunset because of the way the winds work. I recommend sunrise, even though I’m not a morning person. Our flight went about an hour and a half because we couldn’t find a good place to land. We’d only paid for an hour. If you’re in the north Texas area, I’d recommend Sky Chasers. We flew in Sky Circus, their balloon. Their prices are reasonable, $400 for two passengers on a private flight. I checked around and the only place better didn’t have a phone number and didn’t return emails. Most other places put you in a group flight for that price. Be aware, you may not fly on the day you originally pick, due to weather. They like 10 mph winds or less. Be flexible and watch weather patterns.
