I am such a slacker when it comes to paperwork. I do grade papers on time, but I am so bad about neglecting other paperwork because I think I don’t have time to do it. It woudl be better to just get it out of the way than to put it off like I do and have it hanging over my head.

You pulled the words away from out of my mouth (mind) before I set them on the screen.
I put a little desk by the front door, and when I come through the door, I pay my bills, fill out whatever paperwork I have in my bookbag, and look over the kids’ school papers. I get it done and it’s kind of nice to have an excuse to sit down before starting dinner. :)
Well at least you get your papers graded and bills done!
I somehow manage to get my bills paid on time (they’re all due at the same time except 3 - and I’ve got those memorized) but the rest of the paperwork stuff just consumes me - INCLUDING paper grading! This, along with laundry, are two of my biggest problems.
Grading papers is definitely no fun. I think grading and laundry are so hard because they’re never done. Even if you knock the pile down, you still have stuff coming in.
For laundry, I have a different hamper in each bedroom. I do different hampers on different days. Towels, sheets, and curtains only on weeknds; the boys’ room hamper on Monday, Olivia’s room on Tuesday, and mine and my husband’s laundry on Thursday. No laundry on Wednesday or Friday. That kind of works, although I don’t always stick to the schedule.
