crate is the way to go.
If you train properly using the crate it will be both your friend and the friend to the dog! Cheers to you Muriel for mentioning this good tip.

I wish I had followed my own advice when I got my dog. Oh the horror of my first day leaving her alone in the house. What was I thinking!

He's young
I sort of forgot…his age, he’s about 14 weeks. Golden Retriever. I’m pretty excited, though nervous about the crate training, been a while since I had an actual puppy….with a puppy I can’t blame any wierd habits on the previous owner!!!
