Well here’s the first. I’m not sure how realistic of a task this is but I can still dream. Key thing about owning a wolf: you have to get it young and train it. Maybe I could get a half wolf. That would probably be a little easier.

before making a decision as serious as that.Too many people want these creatures and because the demand is so high, breeders carelessly breed them.It mainly depends on what ‘content’(% of wolf vs. dogs) the animal is about ‘how easy’ it would be.The rabies vaccine that applies to domestic dogs currently does not apply to hybrids and therefore, should the animal somehow get loose and bite another person, the authorities will immediately put it down(kill it)in order to ‘study’ the brain for signs of rabies. They cannot be kept as domestic dogs can,too many ppl are mistaken about this fact.

Beautiful AND wild!
I believe that there is no reason for people to keep these beautiful and majestic creatures as “pets” when they are made to be wild and free! I have known many people whe own hybrids and they are never truly sure that they have a “tame” animal in their home. Many were, in fact, 2nd and 3rd generation domesticated animals no less. The best way to enjoy the true essence and spirit of these lovely critters is to see them in their natural habitat, or failing that, see them in one of the many zoos and natural preserves like the beautiful Wolf Haven in Tenino, WA. Please consider carefully before you try to cage Nature’s wonders.
