My friends and I had been up all night philosophizing, drinking, playing cards etc. and decided to climb to the top of the Mount of Olives to watch the sun rise. We set out, exhausted, hungry, and a bit tipsy yet exhilirated. We made it (huffing and puffing, we all smoked then)...and it was truly spectacular, a mellow, inspirational, peaceful, type of spectacular. We all turned around and there was The Dome of the Rock being kissed by the sun and beaming at us in all its glory.
