Love Ayn Rand and love this quote. I have read most of her works and as for the author she has a fascinating personal history. As for objectivism… I am not sure. :-)

I like Ayn Rand and find her books and philiosophy fascinating. However some of the tenets of objectivism are hard for me personally.
Plus to be honest even understanding it is a work in itself… I always have a hard time separating it out from libertarianism.
Now you’re making me want to read some Ayn Rand (which is a good thing) so I know what exactly you are talking about.

Atlas Shrugged, The Fountainhead all good but hard reads… sort of like Ulysses (at least for me). I can’t do that all the time. I think of books the way I think of meals… sometimes you want a steak or a filet mignon finely and slowly prepared, and other times I mostly just want a burger! :-)
Some dreams you should go for and some you shouldn’t. One time I dreamed I leaped from the back of a moving truck. Even at 30 mph this is NOT a dream to go for. You WILL lose skin even if you don’t dream about it. I would say go for your dream if it don’t involve danger, unicorns or frankensteins or things that don’t exist, glueing your fingers back on or meeting the 3 Stooges or things that can’t happen, etc.
