I talked to him yesterday. He gets out of breathe easily but seems to be on the mend. It was really good to talk to him, he is so supportive of me.

Being a grandfather I can tell you that it is really specail when a grandchild gives me the gift of their time.
Learn about each other. Talk. Keep a journal about your grandfather. Talk. Have pictures of the two of you together. Talk. Play games. Oh and did I mention talk?
Thank you, that is so sweet of you to say, I really appreciate it. He has been like a father to me and I hate that he is so far away, but I do what I can to keep in touch with him as best as possible. For now it is limited to short phone calls but I am thinking about sending him letters and maybe some photos.
