It’s funny – I used to be able to do this. Somehow, in the last ten years, I’ve forgotten how. And the only person around who has car I learn on is my mother. She doesn’t really have the patience to watch someone struggle with anything. So, I sort of feel like I have become one-of-those-women-who-can’t-drive-a-stickshift (you know what the type is supposed to be like). I feel like this makes me less hardy, less go-anywhere, do-anything.
