heybone111 Fall pledge - Lose weight, lose weight, lose weight
I started smoking when I was about 14 yr’s old, and kept smoking through the years. I remember when I was in my 20’s, I was strong, and capable, and I felt like there wasn’t a job I couldn’t do. I still smoked, and played sports. Over the year’s I started to notice my strength wasn’t what it once was, but I kept smoking. I continued to work, and smoke, and my 40’s came, and I started to realize I didn’t have the energy to play ball with my kid’s, let alone play any kind of run around the yard game with them, but I worked in the yard, and managed to find the strength to continue to smoke! Now I am 47, and I have to push myself to stand in the driveway with my kid’s and throw the basketball into the hoop, and taking my dog out on the property for short walk’s is considered exercise. My lungs ache, and I feel a lot older than I should. My kid’s are still young, and I feel like I’m 70! I’m hoping the recovery, after stopping smoking is “HUGE”!!
