I went to college in Colorado, in Boulder, lived there 5 years also in Vail. I spent countless hours hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, 4 wheeling, skiing and generally adventuring in this gorgious state. In fact, of all the places I’ve been on this planet, this place is one of my favorites. I return regularly to visit friends and places, and while the eastern half of the state, from Denver to Nebraska is quite flat and non-descript, the rocky mountians are home to such beauty and inspiration that I can not encourage one enough to spend some time there, spend a lot of time there. Wildlife, rivers, rafting, well, you’ll see. Oh, and sunny sunny sunny, even when it snows, the next day it’s sunny.
