...freeze my credit cards in a bag in my freezer so I won’t touch them for eternity.

But I can’t take complete credit for that idea. Yes, I usually take a sandwich bag and fill it with water, put the cards in facing inward, and freeze. Ta da!

useless

Didn't work for me...

I actually tried this once but failed…for two reasons.

1) I remembered the number, so I could still buy stuff online.

2) It was too easy to get access to when I was really weak. Turn the hot water on in the sink, and I had my card in less than 5 minutes.

I guess it does help with the impulse stuff though.

Good points!

But freezing them does keep them out of my wallet so I’m not tempted to use them while I’m out. Unfortunately, I haven’t memorized my numbers. ;-)
