I came to a conclusion: my novel never ends. And it’s pretty sad, b’coz I won’t get this thing done until I kill the main hero or make up some ‘live happily ever after”.
I change the point of the novel every day, to the extent of my understanding of the world. So that it gets deeper and deeper.
How do you guys decide what’s the main goal for your hero and where his journey is finished?
There's no end!

dreaded outline
I would recommend reading the Marshall Plan for Novel Writing. If your story never ends, I would suggest an outline of some sort. Perhaps your story would be better as a series instead of one book. If you don’t have a outline of some sort, then how are you going to know when its going to end. How are you going to know if its interesting or not.
