Learn to use an Airbrush (read all 2 entries…)
I haven't touched one in a decade 3 years ago

. . . and then out of the blue, somebody wants me to paint a motorcycle tank. This is nuts. I shouldn’t be doing this. I should try to get out of it, to avoid the embarassment of fucking up this dude’s harley.

So I just bought an iwata revolution CR, and I’m borrowing my buddy’s compressor. It would be nice to know of any tips for a total amateur like myself (links to tutorials, working on a urethane base coat with water-based paints, masking tips, rendering glass.) It would be even nicer if years ago I hadn’t hocked my old airbrush setup to get into photoshop.

With all these factors working against me, saner minds might step back and say “No fuckin’ way!” But what the hell. I figure you don’t get many chances like this in life, so when you do, go for them all!
