I set out to remodel much of my house, mostly myself. With a background in construction and carpentry in particular I figured it would be a reaosnable challenge. To date I’ve made great progress and those projects completed look great. However working full time and trying to remodel is a taxing endeavor, I often find my self needing to put it aside for a time and recharge. I’m currently planning to finish the upstairs by the end of summer, and all projects I see as mandatory including the downstairs by late this year, early next.

I'm all out of cheers...
cheers. What kind of house?
Kind of house
Hmm, not sure, it’s a 4 bedroom single family home. Split level, way too much yardwork haha. How can you run out of cheers? Do they limit us?
yes.
I don’t know the allowance, exactly, but they go away and come back. use them up and see if you can figure it out.
what are you doing to the house?
A lot
I will let you know if I figure it out, I suspect they grant them for things like finishing a goal ;)
I’m replacing all doors, moldings, baseboards, flooring, kitchen cabinets, bathroom toilet/floor/paint/fixtures/vanities/mirrors/faucet/sink etc. New light fixtures, replace existing lighting, new outlets, tile, blah blah. A lot, it’s hard working full time and getting it done because I’m going most of the work myself. But it’s progressing, I’ve got one and half bathrooms done, and the master bedroom…next main living room and kitchen…home free after that I hope. Are you in or previously in the midst of such an endeavor?
bitstr3am has gotten 1 cheer on this entry.
