Well, I've found a guinea pig supplier...

You’ve haven’t had tapas? Scandalous! Though they really vary a helluva lot in quality.

Also, you should really try reindeer. I leave it til December each year and go to Glas in Borough for some festive feasting. :)

Lobster is, well… I was about to compare it to crab. It’s fun to eat anyway, very messy.

Cream Tea I didn’t have a clue what that was until moving to the UK. It’s that rather delightful way of having afternoon tea with that pyramid shaped, three-level tray, with scones and clotted cream on the bottom, sandwiches on the middle, and a cake of some sort (usually ginger) on top. All very British and rather nice!

Vension is well, reindeer… I thought. Now I’m just confused.

Barramundi I’ve no idea about at all.

London tapas...

... really aren’t the best. I was living in Greenwich for a while (which appears to be the tapas centre of the world) and they’re a tad bland… No wait, I tell a lie; I had some really good tapas in Bar 61 in Streatham (of all places; it’s an odd area, there’s next to nothing there, but what is there is great). I’ll blog it the next time I go.

I guess I’ll keep Venison on until I have something other than reindeer then. Though I dunno what other kind of antlered animal I’m likely to be eating.

Reindeer is quite a dark meat. If it’s cooked well, it’s very very tender with a strong flavour (especially when served rare). It’s a real carnivores meat. I can recommend somewhere for that if you like?

Barramundi I’ll have to up the list. There must be a good fishmongers somewhere that I can pick some up. Seeing as this is bbq season at all (last three nights in a row – yay!).

How’s your police officer quest going btw? Or should I not be so lazy and just go to your page and check? :)

Where did you try the sushi?

Out of curiousity

calypte snowed in!!!

sounds fishy

As someone who’s allergic to fish and seafood, I can’t even touch half that list. I mean, do crab and lobster really need separate entries?!

Oh yes...

... yes they certainly do!

I thought polar bears liked fish?

calypte snowed in!!!

not this one!

I was

and I will be again! I like swapping my avatars :)

Guinea pig is commonly eaten in South America – I was offered some in Peru, where it’s called “cuy”.

I'll keep an eye out for that...

... We’ve some plans to travel about Latin America sometime year after next… or after that again.
