Yeah, the odd email and text. He came out to Lucy’s gig with me a few weeks ago though and kind of touched me up and I didn’t like it one bit and I had to have a quiet but firm word with him. Trust me, it’s not him.
Other than that… um… another very young guy off OKCupid who has become accordion player in mine and Lucyann’s new band. I love him to pieces but in a maternal way – he lets me brush and play with his hair and plait it, he’s like a 6 foot 4 My Little Pony. Platonics all around even though I suspect he might not want that. He gives me foot rubs.
Um… a French-Cambodian guy who I met a couple of years back and got on really well with, and bumped into again at the weekend. He was meant to come meet me at Lucy’s gig on Sunday but got waylaid by an emigrating friend, rang last night to apologise and promised to call me next time he’s in town – he lives in York now. I like him a lot, he’s adorable. But he did kind of stand me up so…
A really really goodlooking but probably complete knob-end-ish guy I met Friday night in a pheromone fit and wound up kissing drunkenly on the pub stairs after a cursory conversation, before deciding that it was probably a bad idea and leaving him standing there looking a bit confused. A glance at his myspace confirms that he probably is a knob but god he’s pretty. Wow. The eyes, the eyes.
Dude, I was on fire last weekend! But I don’t think it’s any of them.

Not that much action really.
I only kissed one of them, the others were potentials that wound up going down a different route. But thanks, and as we say in our house, “I wish I wish oh dream come true, I wish I wish the same to you!”
