Well its been a little while since my last entry here, but its been very productive. I came across a website called GameDev.net which seems to have some very sound advice.

After some more research it appears that C++ is the main language that you need to know, and a knowalge of Java is handy. Given this i’ve been cracking on with learning it and seem to be doing quite well at the moment.

I’ve just covered the first couple of chapter in a book i got called “In Easy Steps” and have been reading the turtorials on the Cprogramming.com website to suppliment this.

From what i can see its going to take me some time before i can realise my dream of making games myself, but its going to be good fun getting there.
