I helped start a two-year-old Arabian colt under saddle. It was great, even when he’d race around the roundpen like a maniac bucking wildly. I’m too green a rider to actually get on (I’m only an intermediate), but I put the first pad on, and the first girth, and the first saddle. And when I see him competing in Western Pleasure, I will be able to look at him and say, I did that!
