go north instead of south for spring break

O Canada

Eric and I avoided the traditional “warm, sunny beach + lots of alcohol” spring break plan (we’d both be bored after two hours) and went to Toronto last March. We had a lot of fun wandering around the city, and we even took a train to Niagara Falls one day. It was our first “real” trip together and there will be many more in the future! :)

Neither of us had ever been there before, so we mostly stuck to the basics—the CN Tower, Casa Loma, Chinatown…all of which we liked a lot. And we did a lot of just walking around and taking in the city, too. :)

I agree Vancouver Rocks!

Once you’ve had a taste of Canada .. you’ll never go back. Vancouver or Montreal would be a great place to holiday.
