Any foreigner in UK who has US driving license is permitted to drive around freely for one year. If that person did not managed to get UK license in that year, the next year that person will be restricted to not driving at all.

Now I lived more than a year in UK, now I have provisional driving license, but I want the real, non-restricted, one!

And it’s not that easy to get it here. You have to book it two (or more!) month in advance. You have to book driving course month in advance. You have to change your car insurance to get driving lesson on your car. You have to wear L sign on your car. Bloody hell! How come that in the US of A you don’t have to deal with all that crap and everyone drives much better?!

Anyway, this is my goal for near future.
