Seems to me , there is far too much of this thing called “racism” going on for today’s day and age…. it is 2006 right ? And yet by the opinions and views some people take in this matter, you are left wondering if we are still in the “dark ages” instead . I think this often comes from a lack of knowledge on the persons behalf , combined with a fear of both the unknown, and of all things different . Different cultures ,different belief’s , different skin color , different traditions . But when you really get down to it, we are all the same really , we just happen to be wearing ” different clothing ” on the outside , that’s all , simple as that .
We need to be models to our children TODAY, not tomorrow . To show them the beauty of differences , to teach them respect of others , and their belief’s , and to embrace the unknown as our path to wisdom , kindness, and in the end, a greater understanding of our self…... For the world we live in is far too small of a place to carry such anger and hate.

Love how eloquently you put that. Your name speaks volumes and youre a wise, wise woman.
Namaste friend and cheers to you.
How does that saying go?
Oh ya, ...”Great Minds think a like!” , and this is definitly a worthy goal to share…I only wish more people would apply this way of thinking to their own life every day….it would do wonders to bring more people together, and shrink this big world down just a little bit more with each new acceptance, and understanding. And I too am in the ” Zero Zone” as well as far as tolerance goes for this kind of behaviour
one sure fire way to get my blood boiling quickly that’s for sure
.....oh, and sorry to hear about your “Crazy Coworker”, hopefully that is very nearly done with, and you can put it all behind you sooner than later. Cheers.
Wow
It is great to see people working for ending racism and all sorts of zenophobia
Your messages on the subject are so good, so well said…..hope many people are reading your messages
Hopefully one day everyone will respect the difference of each other
As I have a similar goal….I associated both of them…I mean I added on each goal page, the fact they are similar..I hope it’s ok for you
Thank you Blue Bird,
I must agree what a wonderful life it would be if we were all respected by each other more in this world everyday.
I am so glad to see your goal, and to know that there is another out there leading the way with their inspirational respect for others, and thoughtful open mindedness. I tip my hat to you, and just wanted to tell you what beautiful photos you take! They are full of so much color light, and sharpness, a true feast for the eyes. Keep it up!
