Next time

I’ve had the flu for the past few days (been out of work for the last 3). I’ll make it to the next shindig.

Block watch

You could try to organize a neighborhood block watch. SPD has a formal block watch program that helps small areas within neighborhoods get together to aid crime prevention. I’m going to my neighbor’s house next week for a block watch meeting on disaster aid and response. Seattle has a program called SDART which focuses on organizing neighbors for just such a purpose. Seems like a good idea.

Next time too

Oh, I’m bummed I just found this goal. I moved into the CD (26th and Washington) 2 months ago, and I’ve been looking to connect with neighbors and others in the community. Please let me know when y’all are meeting again.
