I have a huge problems with mornings. I can’t sleep at night and then I’m a zombie during the day. I need to put an end to this and live like a normal human being.
Comments:
try drinking milk before go to bed, listening some light music,or listening the foreign language tape or broadcast,the last one is really helpful for me.;)
going to sleep & waking up at the same time everyday will help you a lot. Your circadian rhythm will set properly.
Believe me! 3 years ago I was a bartender giong to sleep at 4 am, and now I awake at 4 am for work. Ew.

I’ve been waking up without an alarm now for a while at 6-6:30 everyday and 9am on the weekends oddly enough. Unfortunately I wake up at 6 and go back to bed until 7 which doesn’t give me enough time to get ready for work. Seems like I’m pretty stuck in habit, any ideas on how to ween myself out of that?

seriously …I am sooo not a morning person. I have learned to accept this and given up on fighting it …
Every once in a while I am able to get up, get ready and actually leave the house (gasp!) a few minutes early … however, no longer do I try to delude myself into thinking that I could mange to make this my “norm”. I give thanks for the moment and move on …
So, in order to get to work on time (thus keeping said job) I’ve just learned to get ready faster:
- Shower the night before and just ‘freshen up’ in the morning
- I cut down on my “primp” &
- I get my clothes ready/ironed the night before -outfit COMPLETELY laid out, from panties to shoes …getting dressed with my eyes closed is no longer a problem!
