do the mind-body challenge (read all 11 entries…)
week two, day 4 3 years ago

A had a terrble flu, so last week I wasn’t up to the exercise challenge. But now I’m better, so I had my 10 minute walk. I hadn’t realised it, but I walk a lot doing my errands. Well, maybe not a lot… Still, it’s not really what I need. And due to money/schedule issues, I can’t really exercise the ways I’d like to, which would be Aikido and Yoga classes. Maybe I could settle for some at-home yoga. Should be better than nothing….

Comments:

DVD

there are some great yoga and pilates dvds out there. I like this one.

Thanks a lot for the link

I think you are right; probably DVDs are the way to go here. At least I won’t feel so alone. I already work alone most of the day, and while it suits me really well, it’s not very motivating for exercising.

Have you given any thought to

creating a walking-group? Maybe there are others in your area that you can join with for walks a couple times a week?

Hadn’t really ever thought of that. I don’t think I’m talkative enough for a walking-group, especially for starting one, but I can probably fit a walking session in my schedule. Thanks for reminding me.
