In Washington, the mermaid in the Starbuck’s logo actually is well endowed & detailed… I wonder why it hasn’t shown it’s true form in California

Hehe, that’s pretty good idea..I had a stint working there before during my school days..My purpose was more like wanting to “steal” some coffee making ideas from them so that perhaps I could open up my own coffeeshop one day ;P

Thanks, problem is when to find the time after my day job to work there.
I could have purchased one of those expresso machines for all the coffee I have purchased over a year or so at Starbucks!

It's been a while...

...since I’ve been there, but I recall that the pork tenderloin was superb.

Richardson’s is known for their creative (and prolific) use of chiles. They have a disclaimer on their menu that if you buy a pepper, you own it (meaning the food is HOT).

Hot and tasty. Just the way I like it.

Texaz Grill looks good. I like people who use the word “supper.” :)

At SBux, after working only 20 hours a week you qualify for really good insurance benefits. PLUS, the 401(k) is fantastic. It’s a great place for free lancers and self-employed people to work.

Yes, I too LOVE Starbucks, especially Americano with Mocha and whipcream. The original Starbucks mermaid had a split tail, but it was a little too suggestive so they changed it.

I wouldn’t call that a mermaid – notice the double tail. She’s Yemaya – often portrayed with a double tail.

My daughter and I both work for Starbucks

She has been 2 years and I have been there a year. Pay is not to great but tips are split weekly $1.50-$2.00 an hour, free pound of coffee every week, free coffee on days your working and 30% off any other time and on any merchandise. Get great deals on sale items. Benefits and stocks are great. We are all called Barista’s. It is a fun job. I work my children’s entertainment and storytelling into a Kids Night once a month. It’s a big hit and more of what I love to do!
