Yesterday, my friend Susi came over so we could catch up and watch the Germany-Ecuador match together. We ate nachos with rasped cheese and self made salsa and chanted “Deutschla-aaand” three times when the Germans scored. My Dutch neighbours know they have a German in their midst. Susi, bf and I also drank a few (Dutch) beers and had tons of laughs. ‘t was great to have her over.
