Someone should post something about Ch� and what he really was.

But I think that even more than that, he’s now just an “alternative” icon…people have no idea that he killed tons of people, that he helped invade countries, etc.
People just see the picture and think “icon” more even than “revolutionary icon.”
Oh well.

Thanks for crediting me. I did, in fact, create this goal. And I had NO idea anyone had adopted it until just now.

Who is Che, really?

Kind of Ironic:
I decided to read a collection of journal entries and speeches by Che in an attempt to better understand this guy- I had no idea whatsoever who he was- just that his picture was everywhere. After reading his book, I was under the assumption that “this is the real Che”... Still interested in questing for more Che related info, I searched 43t’s and found the “Stamp out mis-guided Ché adoration worldwide” goal… I did a little bit more reading and my idea of Che as a “revolutionary” was forever changed… thanks for starting this goal!! I might have continued on being ignorant otherwise….

I've been meaning

to read more of Che’s writing, and more about him for that matter. I think very few people know more about him than that he was “a revolutionary” and that he’s a popular icon (pop icon also).
