I love the story, but I’m loosing interest fast… the book is so similar to the the movie that I feel like I’m reading the script, so what’s the point… Maybe I should try reading the original S. Morgenstern’s version ? Who knows ? I give up, 2/3 through the book…

But the original S Morgenstern version doesn’t actually exist. It was an invention by the author!

I like the movie better than the book, too (and I don’t say that about many books!)
