I’m only 34 and I have tons of gray…my mom went gray really early too. I tried for awhile to cover them…but mine are actually white so they absolutely don’t take color. I just said the heck with it. Plus, my maternal grandmother NEVER went gray…she had colored hair until the day she died at 75. And when I say colored, I mean colored. She did it her self, so sometimes it was red, sometimes brown, sometimes green or purple. I don’t think the green or purple was intentional. LOL Anyway…there’s a fine line btwn when it’s good to color your hair and when you start to look ridiculous…so I’m just going with the flow and hoping I don’t look too much older than I am.
