After some real sweat re-finding all my settings when I first updated my Mozilla suite, I just found that the new release of Thunderbird (1.5) is some kind of a “Godsend”. Hate to sound like a salesman… (and if the software is GNU/open-source/FREE, how can I be a salesman?), but 1.5 was effortless to install, and all my settings were preserved perfectly.
